I am delighted to start my new role as manager of Andover Young Carers this month.
My name is Amanda and in my last role I was working with children and young people with disabilities helping them to participate in decisions about their lives. I hope to bring my knowledge and skills I have learnt to my role at Andover Young Carers.
I have spent my first few weeks meeting the staff team, volunteers and visiting our young carers groups. It is great to see young carers attending activities, meeting friends and being outside in the garden. Everyone has made me feel very welcome.
Andover Young Carers are doing some fantastic work with young carers and I look forward to joining the team and meeting you all in the coming months.
