On August 12th a group of our young carers enjoyed an amazing Taster Day at the Spinnaker Sailing Club in Ringwood. They got to try dinghy sailing, kayaking and paddleboarding. The sun was shining, it was a lovely warm day and everyone had the best time. Thank you Spinnaker Sailing Club for such a great experience.
Following this our wonderful Young Carers Co-ordinator Deirdre sent this out to everyone who came along:
To all the Young Carers that attended yesterday’s outing a big Thank You. Thank you all for such a positive day with lots of fun engagement and team work. Helping with equipment and encouraging each other was great to see. Parents we were proud of our young people and wanted you to know.

These outings are so important for our young carers and are only possible thanks to funding from great organisations and individuals. We have been supporting young carers for 25 years and plan to be around for at least another 25!
