We have had a busy summer at AYC with lots of fun outings for our young carers. We are looking to seeing them back at After School Clubs. However we couldn’t do everything we do without the help of our wonderful volunteers.
As a small thank you, we invited our volunteers to join us for a BBQ during the summer holidays.
Sarah, our Activities Worker, and Sam, our Administration Support Officer, organised a nice selection of BBQ food, salads and cakes. Mick, one of our Trustees, along with Joe, one of our Support Workers, cooked the food on the BBQ. Everyone enjoyed a delicious lunch sitting in the sunshine listening to Joe’s playlist!
It was the perfect opportunity to let our amazing volunteers know that we appreciate all their hard work.
